The race:

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is held in January in Australia. The one-day race starts and finishes in Geelong and is run partly on Australia's scenic Great Ocean Road.

The race's first edition in 2015 was was intended to be a farewell race for Cadel Evans, the only Australian to win either the Tour de France or the Professional World Road Championship.
