Real coureurs: those are the members of Lotto Dstny who will wear the new outfit of the Belgian professional cycling team from 2023 onwards. Today, Lotto Dstny proudly unveils its outfit, which the team will sport in the biggest cycling races next season. Simultaneously, the team announces that it has extended the partnership with clothing manufacturer Vermarc Sport for three more years.
Here's the 2023 Lotto Dstny kit
Vermarc Sport has been a loyal partner of the Lotto cycling teams since 2004 and will continue to do so in the next three years. “We are proud that we have linked our brand to a reference in cycling like this team for such a long time”, says Marc Verbeeck, CEO of Vermarc Sport. “During this period, we’ve build up a really strong connection with the team. This bond of trust, the Belgian base and the focus on young talent make Lotto Dstny the perfect billboard for our clothing.”
Lotto Dstny is full of praise for the outfit that, thanks to Vermarc Sport, will allow the team to hit the road in 2023. “The launch of this new outfit means that all eyes are now fully on the upcoming season”, says Yana Seel, Chief Business Officer at Lotto Dstny. “But without forgetting how long this partnership with Vermarc Sport has already been part of this team. At the end of this new commitment, we will have been riding in Vermarc Sport kit for more than half of the team’s existence. This says a lot about the quality of the equipment, the mutual trust and the shared love for the sport.”
Here’s the team’s announcement:
With its Roots to Rise campaign, Team Jumbo-Visma has unveiled its new jersey for 2023. The jersey references the history of Blanco Pro Cycling, founded ten years ago. A bar in blue, green, white, yellow, and black highlights the history of the Dutch team with Blanco, Belkin, Team LottoNL-Jumbo, and Team Jumbo-Visma, as well as a badge on the back.

The world's best cycling team's new outfit is still heavily dominated by its distinctive yellow. The well-known sponsors Jumbo, Visma, Hema, AGU and Skoda feature on the chest. Once more, Gorillas can be found on the sleeves, while Loyalty is featured on the back. New partners are BetCity, SRAM and Lease a Bike. The logo of the best cycling team of 2022 can also be seen on the jersey of the men's squad. On the women's jersey, Elfi takes the place of BetCity. All professional cyclists' names and personal numbers will again be on the back.
"With this jersey, we pay tribute to what we have achieved together over the past ten years, and it is a starting point for further growth over the next ten years”, general manager Richard Plugge says. "We built the team from the ground up to where we are today, with the Tour de France victory last summer being the absolute highlight. By wearing this jersey, we pay tribute to our history, but at the same time, we look forward to the future."
Bicycle Retailer & Industry News sent me this quick update:
The Consumer Product Safety Commission urged manufacturers and importers of e-bikes to make sure their products comply with relevant safety standards, including UL's 2849 standard. The CPSC said it sent the letter to more than 2,000 manufacturers and importers on Monday.
"I am writing to urge you to ensure that the micromobility devices for consumer use that you manufacture, import, distribute, or sell in the United States have been designed, manufactured, and certified for compliance with the applicable consensus safety standards," Robert S. Kaye, the director of the CPSC's Office of Compliance and Field Operations, wrote in the letter.
The letter said CPSC would Field Operations staff would "seek corrective action as appropriate" if they encounter products that don't meet the standards.
