Dylan van Baarle moves from Team Visma | Lease a Bike to Team Soudal Quick-Step

Here’s the farewell post from Team Visma | Lease a Bike:

A farewell to Dylan van Baarle
After three years with an important role in both Grand Tours and classics, Dylan van Baarle will leave our team next year. Therefore, it’s only fitting to relive some of Dylan’s best moments in this gallery.

2023:
Dylan joined the Bees after his Paris–Roubaix-winning 2022 season, and he got off to a flying start. In his very first race with us, he soloed to another big classics win at Omloop het Nieuwsblad and helped Tiesj Benoot to victory at Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne the day after. Two hard crashes in E3 Saxo Classic and Paris–Roubaix disrupted the rest of his spring, but the Dutchman returned to winning ways at the end of June, when he became Dutch road race champion. Shortly after, he played a key role at the Tour de France, where his huge pulls on the front helped Jonas Vingegaard secure the overall win in Paris. Just a month later, he was part of the squad that completed the trilogy by winning the Vuelta a España, with Sepp Kuss, Jonas Vingegaard, and Primož Roglič sweeping the podium.

2024:
After a very successful first year with Team Visma | Lease a Bike, 2024 proved to be a challenging season for Dylan, who was struck by bad luck along with many of his teammates. He still helped Jonas Vingegaard to victory at Tirreno–Adriatico and watched Jan Tratnik and Wout van Aert take home wins on the opening weekend at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne–Brussel–Kuurne.

2025:
This spring, Dylan worked tirelessly for his captains before heading to the Giro d’Italia. There, he continued his remarkable streak of being part of the winning team in every Grand Tour he has completed for us, as Simon Yates memorably claimed the trophy during the final weekend.

Just like in the Tour and Vuelta of 2023, Dylan’s versatility as a strong helper on both flatter and mountainous stages proved valuable throughout the three weeks, and he was ready to do it all over again for Jonas Vingegaard at the Vuelta a España a few months later. Once again, his efforts contributed to his teammate bringing home the jackpot. In 2026, Dylan will continue his career with Soudal – Quick-Step, and we wish him all the best. Thank you for three great years, Dylan!
