The race:

The Arctic Race of Norway is a stage race held in northern Norway in August. In 2015 the race took place entirely above the Arctic circle.

The race is organized by a partnership of the the Amaury Sport Organization (owners of the Tour de France) and Arctic Race Norway.

The first two editions were given a 2.1 ranking by the UCI and in 2015 it was pro to being an "HC" ranked event.

The General Classification leader wears a Yellow Jersey, the Points Classification leader gets a Green Jersey while the best climber wears an Orange Jersey. The Best Young Rider wears a White Jersey.

As of 2022 the race has always followed a four-stage format.
