The race:
The Namur Cyclo-cross race (sometimes called the Citadelcross) has been held in Namur, Belgium since 2009.
The course is held on the hills around the city castle, called the Citadel.
Very often the course is quite muddy.
The race was originally part of the Gazet van Antwerpen Trophy.
In the 2011-2012 season the race became part of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup
The 2022 edition was run as the European Cyclocross championships.
