The number of starters and finishers reman unknown.
Time splits after nineteenth place unavailable
A strong headwind made breakaways difficult for much of the race. With about 20 kilometers to go, Georges Claes attacked, taking Louis Gauthier with him.
Later, Lucien Vlaemynck bridged up to the duo. The trio entered the Roubaix velodrome together, where Claes was the victor.
