Chloe Dygert wins Junior Women's Road Race

It isn't even close! Chloe Dygert wins the Junior Women's Road Race.

Tour de France: the Inside Story

The race: There can be no doubt. Chloe Dygert and Emma White, both of the USA team, are the best junior road women in the world. At the individual world time trial championships a few days ago, Chloe Dygert and Emma White went 1-2. And again today at the road race, Chloe Dygert decisively won the rainbow jersey with Emma White taking the silver.

A break of four went away on the second lap and from the small group Dygert successfully attacked on the final lap. In that short distance she put a minute and a half between herself and her nearest chasers.

After controlling the break for Dygert, Emma White had enough horsepower left to take second, three seconds ahead of Poland's Agnieszka Skalniak.
