Clément Venturini and Jenthe Biermans finished fourth and fifth respectively in the fourth round of the French Cup, La Roue Tourangelle.
Clément Venturini
The whole Arkea-B&B Hotels team, it's with this state of mind that we go forward, impose ourselves and win races by being ‘all for one, and one for all’. I really wanted the race to settle down early on, but that wasn't the case. I tried in the final, and I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of collaboration. That's just the way it is. I knew we still had the Jenthe card for the sprint, and I even tried to reel him in in the last kilometre. Then I fought all the way to the line. I'm in good condition and I'm coming into a race cycle that I like. Today bodes well for the future.

You always come to a race to win, but today's highlights were fourth and fifth places for Clément Venturini and Jenthe Biermans. I'd also like to highlight the collective commitment of everyone. Jean-Loup Fayolle was appointed to ride harder in the bumps. The other young members of the Arkea-B&B Hotels team were perfectly guided by the WorldTour riders. We took our place and assumed our position. Jenthe made a little move at the start of the sprint. We couldn't have hoped for better in the end. I'll also mention the excellent condition of Clément Venturini, who went off twice in the final. After that, the others didn't ride because they had different interests. This race will be good for our morale, we need to keep going in this direction and we'll be winning races.
