Weather at the start/finish city of Legnano at 2:25 PM, local time: 15C (59F), cloudy, with the wind from the northeast at 5 km/hr (3 mph). There is a 20% chance of rain, growing to 40% at 5:00 PM.

The race: Here's the report from second-place Alex Baudin's Team Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale.

Alex Baudin:
"The race started a little earlier than we'd imagined. I was badly placed at the time and had to make up a hundred positions and close several gaps. That's when I felt that I was strong and that there was something to be done. We had another great collective race: Bastien started me off well, and he made the race harder when I accelerated on the penultimate lap, which was perfect. We went out at four riders, then caught up with the breakaway group. I thought I'd be the slowest of our group of seven and I finished second. I handled my sprint well and I'm happy with my form."

The news:
Dorian Godon in the top 10
Another rider from the Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale team was in the top 10 of the Coppa Bernocchi: Dorian Godon came eighth after winning the bunch sprint.

The number: 4
This is the fourth podium finish for Alex Baudin this season. He previously finished second in the Grand Prix de La Marseillaise at the end of January, then won the second stage and final overall classification of the Tour du Limousin-Périgord - Nouvelle Aquitaine in mid-August.

Stan Van Tricht beats Alex Baudin for the win.
