Just one news piece:
Ben Swift out of Amstel Gold Race
This news came to me from the UAE team:
Ben Swift is not racing the Amstel Gold Race because of an injury. Dr Antonio Angelucci, UAE Team Emirates' physician, explained why the British cyclist did not start:
"This morning Ben Swift has accidentally suffered a sprained right ankle. He has been immediately aided by the medical staff of the team and by the physiotherapists. After the presentation of the Team, considering the clinical situation, the rider, has agreed with the Team's physician and with the sports directors to not participate in the race. He'll go home where he'll undergo more check, under the supervision of the team's medical staff."
UAE Team Emirates wish a full recovery to Ben Swift.
