The race: Here's the report from third-place Pavel Sivakov's Team INEOS Grenaiders.

Pavel Sivakov claimed a fourth podium finish in four races as he put in an attacking performance to finish third at Memorial Marco Pantani.

The Italian one-day event played out at a rapid pace, with Sivakov part of a move that pushed on heading into the final 40 kilometres.

Joined by Alexey Lutsenko (Astana) and Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates), the trio combined well and would go on to fill out the podium positions, with Lutsenko taking the win in the three-up sprint.

With the race split to pieces behind, Sivakov’s group came in 1:57 ahead of the next chasing trio.
