Giro di Sardegna (2.1), Italy

(Tour of Sardinia)

Winners, podium, distance, average speed

The Giro di Sardegna is a recently resurrected stage race held on the mountainous island of Sardinia, off the western coast of Italy in the Mediterranean sea. It has been held off and on since 1958, but until 2009, the race hadn't been run since 1997. The 1996 and 1997 races were editions of the Settimana Ciclista Internazionale.
