The Race: Fourth-place Eduard Prades' Team Caja Rural-Seguros RGA posted this report:

After Iúri Leitão's victory this morning at the Trofeo Palma, Eduard Prades came close to achieving the second team wion of the day on Sunday afternoon with his fourth place at the G.P. La Marseillaise. The Catalan fought until the end for the win and came close to the podium. Alongside him, the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA team placed another man among the best, thanks to the tenth place of the Dutchman Alex Molenaar.

These good results, together with Leitão's victory in Mallorca, make for a great Sunday for the team in terms of points, as the entire haul amounts to 205 UCI points.

Eduard Prades: “I'm satisfied, although you can never be completely happy, right? When you're so close to the podium and you're left out, you're never happy, we always want more. "I was going very fast in the last few metres, I found myself very closed in between cars and the kerb to get through, so I spent a lot of energy looking for gaps. And well, I found them in the last few metres and I did make progress after trying so hard to find a place. In the end, fourth place in the GP La Marseillaise, evolving year after year in this race and happy with the result, but always wanting more."
