Weather at the finish city of Livrot Pays d'Auge at 1:15 PM, local time: 9C (49F), cloudy, with the wind from the south at 24 km/hr (15 mph). There is a 96% chance of rain during the afternoon. It has already rained on the peloton.

The race: Nathan Smith (Novo Nordisk) did not start. Halfway into the race Jesus Antonio Soto (Equipo Kern Pharma) abandoned.

Here's the post from winner Benoît Cosnefroy's Team Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale:

Benoît Cosnefroy:
"I had a hard time getting into the first group, but then I maneuvered well in the sprint to win, so I'm very happy. When you win with a good feeling it's great, you go all the way, but when you win with an average feeling like today, it's even nicer to have that finish."

Dries De Bondt (5th at Dwars door Vlaanderen)"
"It hurt my legs and my head, but I saw a lot of stars! I'm a bit disappointed because I quickly felt that Jorgenson's attack in the final was the right one. I think I still had the legs at that moment to follow him, but I hesitated too much. I tried to react a few kilometers later, but unfortunately I soon felt that my legs were not up to it. I'm happy to be fifth and to have made an impact on the finish, because the group was strong and I did my best. Today's objective was a top 5 finish, and I achieved it.

The news:
The team put in a fine collective performance at Dwars door Vlaanderen. In addition to Dries De Bondt's fifth place, Pierre Gautherat and Damien Touzé finished in the group just behind, in eleventh and twenty-seventh positions respectively.

The number: 7

By winning Paris-Camembert, Benoît Cosnefroy brings the Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale team its seventh victory of the season. It is also Benoît Cosnefroy's third personal success, after winning the second stage and the general classification of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes.
