The Race: Vasil Kiryienka became the world elite men's time trial champion on September 23. I believe this was his first opportunity to race in his new rainbow jersey and he did not waste the chance. Kiryienka delivered a decisive win in the historic French time trial, beating second place Marcina Bialoblocki by more than a minute.
The Chrono des Nations traditionally marks the end of the European racing season.
