The race:
The Veneto Classic is a late-season race held Veneto, a region in northeast Italy, It was first held October 17, 2021 with the UCI giving that first edition a 1.1 ranking.
The race is run by retired racer Filippo Pozzato, winner of the 2006 Milano–San Remo.
The first edition started in Venice and finished in Bassano del Grappa.
