The race:

The first edition of the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior race was run on February 14, 2022.

Held in the province of Jaén, in the eastern part of Andalucia, the intention of the race promoters was to create a Spanish version of Italy’s Strade Bianche with sections of dirt roads (sterrato).

The race’s first edition had seven sections of sterrato and was 192.4 kilometers long.
