Fausto Angelo Coppi (September 15, 1919 - January 2, 1960) was probably the finest, most elegant cyclist in the history of the sport. Nicknamed Il Campionissimo (the Champion of Champions), he won nearly everything, single day races, stage races, time trials and track races.
